The Hoshizaki House Dryden District Crisis Shelter serves communities in and around Dryden, Ignace, and Vermillion Bay.
We are a 10 bed facility which provides safe and secure emergency shelter for abused women and their children. Any woman who is a victim of violence/abuse can access our services and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
All of our services are safe, supportive, non-judgemental, and confidential.

Available to women in the community as well as shelter residents, who have experienced recent or historical physical, sexual, emotional, mental, financial, or spiritual abuse. Support groups are also offered periodically.
Transitional Housing & Support Program

Agency referrals, support groups, individual appointments, safety planning, advocacy, help with housing, income support, legal information, education and career assistance, and follow up support.
